The Pittsburgh Kingfishers beat the Buffalo White Walkers, 6-2. Pittsburgh pitcher and Bronx, New York, native Martin Elzey led the way. Elzey, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 5 walks. The win puts Pittsburgh at 4-5.
