Fading Blue Dragons Lose 6th Straight
The Levittown Blue Dragons got a superb performance from pitcher Li-zhi Lai, but the Kent Comets still won the game, 6-3. Lai threw 5.2 innings of 1-hit ball. Shang-de Rang earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record is now 1-0. The win elevated the Comets to 28-8.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Sam Collins came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Levittown pitcher José Rivera, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Kent on top, 4-3.

"I really like what we did out there today," Collins said after the game.
