Delmarva and Huntington duked it out and the Gallos came out victorious.

Delmarva got a strong outing from Clay Perkins as the Gallos defeated the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 3-0, at The Shell. Perkins went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 1. His record improves to 3-2.

Delmarva used a well-timed hit by Boys Compagne to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Gallos ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Perkins.

The win for the Gallos raised their record to 19-16.
