Grand Forks right fielder José Organito had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Pontiac Godfathers, 6-5. The win was credited to Benigno Lio in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Dan Wells took the loss. The victory puts Grand Forks at 13-21.
Organito contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Grand Forks in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 5-3, Organito took a cutter from Dan Wells and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Caterpillars to leap in front, 6-5.
"We played hard and won," said Organito. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
