The Pontiac Godfathers shut out the Kennesaw Jets 4-0 today behind the strong pitching of Ray Wright. Wright surrendered only 3 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 8.

Following the last out, Wright appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Kennesaw manager Cristián Sandoval, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Wright's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart.

The Jets skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Godfathers press conference, Wright confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.

"He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Wright said.

"And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Pontiac manager Allen Yohemas added.

In 6 starts this season Wright has compiled a 4-1 record and a 2.51 ERA.
