The Levittown Blue Dragons had to overcome a fine effort from Yucca Valley pitcher Sun-ho Yang to grab a narrow 5-3 win at The Cave at Levittown. Yang went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Levittown reliever Bill Hill picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Quinton Lee absorbed the loss. With the win, Levittown has a record of 14-8. Yucca Valley falls to 15-7.
Dale Hogan hit a bases-clearing double off Quinton Lee in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Blue Dragons in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, Hogan had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"Winning never gets dull," said Hogan.
