Alcoholado Helps Delmarva Cruise to 10-3 Win
|
Roberto Alcoholado impressed in the 10-3 Delmarva win over Kennesaw. Alcoholado, who is tied for 4th in the SA in home runs with 4, was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Delmarva reliever Nick Cummins picked up the win to move to 1-0. Jorge Quiñonez suffered the loss. With the win, Delmarva goes to 10-11, while the Jets fall to 3-18.
Francis Kersey had an important at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the third, when he hit a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season put Delmarva on top, 2-0.
"We did a lot of things right," said Alcoholado.
