Airmen Get 4-2 Win Versus Put-In-Bay
|
Alameda picked up a win at Alameda Field, bumping off the Put-In-Bay Commodores, 4-2. Pitcher Kevin Rietmulder was a major reason the Airmen emerged victorious. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Airmen.
Fernando Morales, who is tied for 2nd in the 3A with a .412 on-base percentage, helped out the Alameda cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk.
"I still think this team can play even better," Rietmulder told the Alameda Gazette.
