The Niagara Falls Expos went down to defeat to Odilon Folha and his Alameda teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the Airmen. Niagara Falls has now lost 5 in a row.

Alameda used the timely hitting of Bill Gledhill to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Airmen on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Niagara Falls manager Dave Davis said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
