Yellows Win, 9-1, at Grand Forks
The Yucca Valley Yellows and starting pitcher Curt Stokes stifled the Grand Forks offense en route to a comfortable 9-1 win at The Cocoon. The Caterpillars fall to 7-9 and continue their lackluster start to the 2048 season.

Yucca Valley used the clutch hitting of Shawn Pittman to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Yellows the lead, 3-0. For the game, Pittman had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Stokes.
