The Kingston Mangos picked up a win at Mango Yard, knocking off the Mancelona Torch, 3-2. Starting pitcher Brad Duncan was a big reason why. Sing Song was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 23 of 24 save opportunities. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Mancelona.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Mangos had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the first, when second baseman Bradley Whaley hit a 2-run single. The single came off Matt Howe and made the score 2-0, Mangos. Whaley went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs.
