The Yucca Valley Yellows eked out a 3-2 win versus the Kent Comets at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. Nobody did more than pitcher Sun-ho Yang. He was terrific. Kent is 11-2 after the loss.

In the bottom of the ninth, Raúl Hernández had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring walk to center off Kent pitcher Joe Horne.

"We were in it," said Kent manager John McGrath. "We just didn't score enough runs."
