Kent rode a good effort from starter Luke Robb to beat the Grand Forks Caterpillars at Fuller Park. The final score was 8-1. Kent goes to 8-1 with the win.
In the bottom of the fourth, with Kent leading 3-1, center fielder Ernie Lewis hit a 2-run single. The hit came off Adam Harvick and put the Comets ahead, 5-1.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Kent manager John McGrath.
