Blue Dragons Need Extra Innings to Top Caterpillars, 4-3
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Grand Forks Caterpillars home opener. Young-kwang Chong started for the home team against Imbart Theunen for the Levittown Blue Dragons. The Caterpillars were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 4-3, Levittown. Young-kwang Chong, though, was impressive. The winner was Li-zhi Lai in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Nelson Shaffer took the loss. Rodger Asmus earned the save for Levittown, his 1st of the year.

Elton Olivant made it 4-3 in favor of Levittown when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the 11th. The Blue Dragons went on to win.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Olivant told the Levittown Times.
