Ft. Polk South Topples Nuevo Mexico, 7-2
|
Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks starter Dan-zu Sun pitched his team past the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 7-2. Ft. Polk South now owns a record of 49-50.
Ft. Polk South used the bat of Donald Cannon to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Thunder Hawks ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Sun. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
