Airmen Thrill Fans with 1-0 Win
In a tight affair between the Alameda Airmen and the Cut Off Crawdads, pitcher Cornell Rogers was in the zone. The Alameda right-hander helped his team win the game, 1-0. The winner was Alameda reliever Kevin Rietmulder, now 3-2. The loser was Jeff Lynch. Alameda now sits in 4th place in the Menard's A at 33-27.

In the bottom of the ninth, with no one out and the game tied, 0-0, second baseman Bill Gledhill won it for Alameda. With the bases loaded, Gledhill hit a 1-0 fastball from Jeff Lynch for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 1-0 win.
