Rails Prevail, 6-5, Over Northville

The Richland Rails faced a tough opponent in Northville pitcher Doug Brown, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Rails Ballpark by a final score of 6-5. Brown went 5.2 innings and allowed no runs. Earning the save was Robinson Espinoza. He's now cashed in 13 of 15 save opportunities. The victory makes Richland 28-52.
The Rails got a big at-bat from left fielder Gaballah Murunga. For the game, Murunga went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Richland a 5-1 lead.
"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Murunga.
