River Rats Reel Off Another Win
|
Columbia starter Bob O'Slattery pitched well against the Mancelona Torch at Torch Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 8-3. This win makes it 8 in a row for Columbia.
Columbia relied on the hitting of Han-wu Woo to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the River Rats on top, 7-3. For the game, Woo had 1 triple and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"I like how we're playing right now," said Woo.
