Thunder Hawks Topple Eclipse, 4-1

No one was more impactful than Donald Cannon in the 4-1 Ft. Polk South win over Northville. Cannon, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in home runs with 16, was 1 for 2 with 2 walks. Ft. Polk South pitcher Eitoku Tanaka got the win, upping his record to 3-1. Constantino Ruíz got the loss. The save was credited to Roberto Córdova, his 2nd.
Cannon was 1 for 2 with 2 walks against the Eclipse. In the bottom of the first inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Ft. Polk South in front, 1-0.
"We played hard and won," said Cannon. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
Ft. Polk South has now won 3 straight, while the Eclipse have lost 3 in a row.
