7-6 Loss Extends Minnesota Losing Streak
Jorge Pedroso had a good game, but he could not keep the Minnesota Loons from falling, 7-6, to the Richland Rails at Loony Bin. The Minnesota catcher went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 in the loss. The winning pitcher was Pepe Montoya. He's now 1-3. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Rails. Robinson Espinoza earned the save for Richland, his 12th.

In the top of the ninth, with Richland leading 6-4, Nherbert Imperial hit a fastball from Harry Richter for a run-scoring single, giving the Rails the lead, 7-4.
