The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles did just enough to secure a victory over the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 4-3, at Mercer Island Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Peyton Keys. The Screaming Eagles move to 34-25 with the win, while the Thunder Hawks drop to 26-33.

The Screaming Eagles relied on left fielder Carlos Delgard for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the ninth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"It feels good to get this one," Delgard told the Mercer Island Today.
