The Richland Rails got a superb performance from third baseman Andrew Rijerkerk. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Minnesota. The Loons won the game, 6-5. Rijerkerk was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Minnesota pitcher Carlos Rivas got the win. He's now 4-1. Juan Trujillo was tagged with the loss. Earning his 13th save of the year was Harry Richter.

Dan Barnes hit a run-scoring double off Juan Trujillo in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Loons in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Barnes had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Minnesota manager Eddie O'Bryan.
