Ft. Polk South Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks defeated the Olympia Ogres, 4-3, in USPL Double A action at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Ft. Polk South pitcher Joe Gregg had a standout performance. Ft. Polk South reliever Joe Gregg got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Yun-fat Ju was tagged with the loss. The Thunder Hawks, at 23-29, sit in 7th place in the Premier AA.

The Thunder Hawks relied on designated hitter Steve Covington for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"The game of baseball will test you," said John Anderson, the Ft. Polk South skipper. "This one tested us."
