Olympia used a superb performance from starting pitcher Flavio Lapo to down the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 4-1. Lapo, the winner, moves to 4-2. He threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk.

António Sierra had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth. The Olympia right fielder came through with a 2-run single to put Olympia in front, 4-1.

"We put together a nice win," Lapo said.

The 'W' lifts Olympia's record to 22-14.
