Rails Squelch Loons Offense in Shutout Win
The Richland Rails got a stellar effort from pitcher Miguel González, helping Richland score a win over the visiting Minnesota Loons, 4-0. The Rails now have a record of 11-24.

The Rails got a big at-bat from right fielder Rafael Rea. For the game, Rea was 2 for 5 with a double. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave Richland a 1-0 lead.

Rea told the Richland Chronicle: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
