|
The Cut Off Crawdads picked up a win at Washington Park, knocking off the Washington Generals, 2-1. Starting pitcher Michael Leal played a key role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was Leal, now 2-1. He tossed 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 2. The Generals, now 5-10, continue their sluggish start.
Chua chay Yang helped out the Cut Off cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a double.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Cut Off manager Manuel Barrios.
