Northville starter Tim Chuter pitched well against the Richland Rails at Rails Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Chuter got the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 3 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. Chuter allowed 2 runs. The victory puts Northville at 9-15.
In the top of the first, Étienne Jobe ambushed a 1-0 curveball from Kensaku Sanu and hit a 3-run home run. It gave Northville a quick 3-0 lead.
