Minnesota Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Minnesota Loons topped the Virginia Beach Whales by the score of 7-5, with the largest share of the credit going to catcher Jorge Pedroso. Pedroso went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Loons. The win was credited to Alfredo Morales in relief. His record improves to 2-0. William Pettersen took the loss. With their winning streak at 4, the Loons have raced to a strong start this season.

Minnesota won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and William Pettersen on the mound for Virginia Beach, left fielder Wen Mi hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Loons fans to their feet.
