Fong Goes Distance in 3-1 Win
Mercer Island starter Yin-reng Fong put a stranglehold on the Richland offense. The left-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Screaming Eagles to a 3-1 win. With the win, Mercer Island goes to 4-4.

Fong, the winner, is now 1-1 after putting the clamps on the Richland offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 6 hits, while collecting 5 Ks.
