The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas beat the Billings Polar Bears, 3-2. Chesapeake pitcher and Arlington, Texas, native Kevin Brown led the way. Brown went 7 innings to notch the win. Chesapeake right fielder Joel Costello contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a cutter into left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 41st hit of the season and put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead, 3-0.
