Late Magic Gets Akron 5-1 Win
Akron picked up a win at Toledo Backyard Park, bumping off the Toledo Saboteurs, 5-1. Pitcher Ricardo Ramírez was a major reason the Blimps emerged victorious. In 8.2 innings, Ramírez surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. With the win, Akron upped its record to 54-42.

It could have been a different outcome for Akron, had it not been for Ed Reilly, the 26-year old center fielder . Reilly contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Akron up, 3-1.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Ramírez said.
