Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas starter Burian Polyn had all his pitches working at Field of Plenty. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Chesapeake win over the Providence Pilgrims. Chesapeake raised its record to 59-33 with the win.

The Cangrejos Fantasmas got an important contribution from shortstop Ron Jordan, who in the top of the fourth hit a changeup into right for a 2-run double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Cangrejos Fantasmas ahead, 3-0.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Chesapeake manager Brian Cameron.
