Blues SS van Schaack slugs 2 home runs in Win

Barton Springs third baseman Dave van Schaack had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Billings Polar Bears, 7-3. Picking up the win was Sun-ho Yang. He went 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits. The right--hander struck out 7 and walked 3. Guo-ning Wang collected his 1st save.
Barton Springs grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when van Schaack, who is tied for 9th in the SAA in home runs with 16, hit a 2-run home run. His 16th home run of the season put the Blues out in front, 4-3.
"I still think this team can play even better," van Schaack told the Barton Springs Times.
Barton Springs has now won 3 straight, while the Polar Bears have lost 3 in a row.
