Cangrejos Fantasmas Deal Fighting Imps 3-2 Loss
The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas picked up a win at Imps Park, courtesy of Kevin Brown. The right-hander helped his team stop the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 3-2. Brown went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-2. Floyd Niebla, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities.

Javier Bruno, the 24-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Bruno contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Chesapeake up, 1-0.

"We did enough to win," said Bruno.

With the win, Chesapeake raised its record to 53-29.
