The Squirrel Hill Pierogis stopped the Toledo Saboteurs, 9-3, at Toledo Backyard Park. The Pierogis got a big game from Chris Jones, who hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times. Squirrel Hill bumps their record to 35-44 with the win.

With Squirrel Hill leading 6-3 in the top of the ninth, Jones hit a cutter from Cristo Sánchez for a 3-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Pierogis ahead, 9-3.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Jones told the Squirrel Hill Bulletin.
