Hanson Jacks Two Home Runs in 6-3 Barton Springs Win
|
The Barton Springs Blues defeated the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 6-3, at Blues Field today. Leading the charge for Barton Springs was left fielder Cecil Hanson. He went 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Earning his 21st save of the year was Eric Ramírez. At 42-36, the Blues are currently third in the Silver AA.
Barton Springs took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Hanson hit a grand slam home run. His 11th home run of the season made the score 5-1, Barton Springs.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Hanson told the Barton Springs Times.
