Saboteurs catcher Mario Torres put his stamp on his team's 11-9 win over the Akron Blimps. Torres went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Toledo in the contest. Reynaldo Benítez got credit for the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2 innings. The Saboteurs now have a record of 31-44.

Toledo used the timely hitting of Carlos Núñez to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Saboteurs ahead, 11-8. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
