Guinea Pigs Keep Streak Alive With 4-2 Win
Gwinnett Guinea Pigs starter Michael Galloway was in fine form against the Billings Polar Bears at Experimental Stadium, leading his team to a win, 4-2. The winning pitcher was Galloway, now 7-3. He tossed 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 7. With the win, Gwinnett upped its record to 54-17.

The Guinea Pigs got an important contribution from left fielder Will Blalock, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a slider into right for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Guinea Pigs ahead, 3-2.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Galloway said.
