Squirrel Hill Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

In a low-scoring game between Squirrel Hill and Ithaca, pitcher Clayton Thomas was excellent. The Squirrel Hill right-hander helped his team knock off the Fighting Imps, 1-0. Squirrel Hill now has a 3-game win streak.

Dave Hall was the walk-off hero for Squirrel Hill. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pierogis third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Hall said.
