French, Pilgrims Get 4-0 Win
|
Chris French was outstanding against Toledo. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the SAA in innings pitched with 80.0, had a forkball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Pilgrims 4-0 win. The Pilgrims raised their record to 25-38.
French tossed 110 pitches over 8.2 innings to clinch the win for the Pilgrims. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts in the game.
"We had a good game plan," French said, "and we were able to execute it."
