Heredia Propels Gwinnett to 7-0 Win
Gwinnett beat Billings on the strength of starter Salvador Heredia's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-0. The losing streak for Billings has now reached 4 games.

Heredia, a native of Rodas, Cuba, was dealing all game. He kept Billings hitters off-balance, while giving the Guinea Pigs 8 quality innings. Heredia threw 104 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 4.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Heredia said in reaction to the win.
