Fighting Imps Take Down Cangrejos Fantasmas, 5-2

The Ithaca Fighting Imps beat the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 5-2. Ithaca pitcher and Kingston, Jamaica, native Rhys Tregelles led the way. The 5th-place Fighting Imps have a record of 28-25.
Ithaca used the timely hitting of Ricardo De Jesús to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Fighting Imps ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"Our team showed some resilience," said De Jesús.
