Barton Springs Blues starter Carlos Gómez kept the Toledo Saboteurs hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-0 win. Toledo has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Barton Springs used the timely hitting of Hamilton Long to capture the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blues on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Gómez said after the game.
