Billings center fielder Andy Strickland played a vital role in his team's 7-4 triumph over Bethesda. He was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Billings. Todd Jackson sewed up the save, his 8th. At 23-25, the Polar Bears find themselves in 6th place in the Silver AA.

With Billings leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth, Strickland hit a fastball from Cristóbal Noriega for a run-scoring double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Polar Bears ahead, 5-3.

When asked about his performance, Strickland said, "It probably won't silence the critics."
