Saboteurs Need Extra Frames to Get Past Cangrejos Fantasmas
|
The Toledo Saboteurs picked up a win at Ghost Crab Park, knocking off the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 5-3. On the mound for Toledo was right-hander Darwin McGinnity, who played a pivotal role in the win. Toledo reliever Roy Crum picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Sadanobu Hasegawa shouldered the loss. Toledo is 7th in the Silver AA with a record of 19-26.
This game was not decided until Ralph Brantley came to bat in the top of the tenth. With the bases loaded and one out, the Toledo designated hitter hit a sacrifice fly. The Saboteurs took the lead, 4-3.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said McGinnity.
