Fighting Imps Win, 5-2, at Gwinnett

Ithaca and Gwinnett duked it out and the Fighting Imps came out victorious.
The Ithaca Fighting Imps topped the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, 5-2, in USSL Double A action at Experimental Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Ithaca pitcher and Shanwei, China, native Mang Zhong. Xin-fang Zha collected his 9th save.
Lou Wise hit a 2-run triple off Michael Galloway in the top of the first, which put the Fighting Imps in front, 2-0. Wise had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Zhong. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
The Fighting Imps raised their record to 20-22.
