The Ithaca Fighting Imps got a superb performance from first baseman Andrew Potter, but the Barton Springs Blues still won the game, 6-3. Potter went 4 for 5 with 4 singles. Barton Springs reliever Harley Hawk picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Chris Johnson was saddled with the loss. At 18-20, the Blues find themselves in 7th place in the Silver AA.

Had Ron Stevenson not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Stevenson hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Blues.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Barton Springs manager Joe Kehoe.
