De Jesús Slugs Fighting Imps to 5-3 Win
The 5-3 Ithaca win over Providence was due largely to Ricardo De Jesús. The Fighting Imps third baseman was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. Rhys Tregelles earned the win to go to 2-3. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. Ithaca, now 14-18, holds down 9th place in the Silver AA.

Ithaca used a timely hit from Lou Wise to get the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Fighting Imps ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
