Pearce Dominant in Saboteurs Victory

The Toledo Saboteurs topped the Bethesda Atoms, 3-1, in USSL Double A action at Toledo Backyard Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Toledo pitcher Ed Pearce. The win elevated the Saboteurs to 15-13.
Pearce, who was born in Duluth, Minnesota, threw 106 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing 1 run.
Pearce called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
