Pilgrims Come Up Short at Akron, 2-1
Sun Tah never let the Pilgrims get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Blimps to a win, 2-1. Tah picked up the win for Akron, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. William Kelly picked up the save, his 5th.

Akron grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases empty, Rick MacIlleriach delivered a solo home run, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Blimps.
